Up to 10 projects will be selected to start in 2010 Up to $ 50,000 will be awarded to each project in the first year Support may be extended for a second year

My Child Matters is a UICC and sanofi-aventis partnership which aims to reduce the burden of childhood cancer in resource-constrained countries.
It has already launched 33 projects in: Bangladesh, Bolivia, Burkina Faso, Colombia, Côte d’Ivoire, Egypt, Honduras, Indonesia, Kenya, Mali, Morocco, Pakistan, Paraguay, Peru, Philippines, Romania, Senegal, Tanzania, Ukraine, Venezuela and Vietnam.
